French Fridays Thursdays with Dorie – Cold Melon-Berry Soup
Today let’s celebrate the best of France: Bastille Day, honoring France’s Independence from the monarchy in 1789; the Tour de France, the world’s premiere cycling competition; and the country’s fine reputation for food, this week’s choice is Dorie’s délicieux Cold Melon-Berry Soup.
JOIN the PARTY, S’il vous plaît.
thanks for the happy Bastille Day wishes et le meme a vous. Also thanks for the accordion article. Miss you Dotty
What a perfect shot! The bread, the cheese, the melon berry soup! Picture perfect!
I love your tower! What a beautiful spread.
Fun pictures! And your menu sounds delicious.
What a fun way to get into the spirit of things!
The blueberries must have made a nice addition. I’ll have to keep that in mind if I try this one again.
That spread is beautiful and so inviting, a great way to celebrate Bastille Day. If I ever use ginger again I will certainly be sure to peel it. Just being a senior citizen doesn’t prove you know
everything. I think I have learned more about cooking this past year since joining FFWD.
Tricia and I have had lots of fun making these recipes, and lots of laughs too.
Looks great! Very festive.
Beautiful picture!
The tall stem wine glass with the colourful soup looks stunning.
Cold soup in the summer is a nice treat. I left the wine out since my son was having some.
