Not only is this Mozzarella, Tomato and Strawberry Salad delightful to see on a table, it’s wonderfully delicious and definitely screams, “Summer.”
Another use, also, for that basil plant which is growing like mad!
Serve this tangy combo with French bread and a Sancerre or Rosé.
That’s it.
Simple. Sublime. Summer.
Hi Mary, Your salad looks so Summery and inviting- just want to dig in!
Beautiful, easy & tasty. It really was that simple.
Lovely salad! It is just a perfect summer dish, isn’t it! 🙂 – mary
When you have so much basil like that, it’s a pity when you don’t use it often, isn’t it? Perfect excuse to eat more of this fresh, summery salad!
You are so right! 3 words is all that’s needed to describe this salad. Love your clean simplicity!
A crusty french baguette, a glass of wine, and that delicious looking salad, what’s
not to love. Unfortunately, Tricia and I had a split decision on this recipe. I did
not care for the strawberries in it, even though I love them and eat them practically
all summer. However, FFwD is all about trying something new and it’s fun.
Lovely photos.
This is summer on a plate indeed! What a beautiful meal. 🙂
Yup, looks and tastes just like summer. I love your photo with the trees reflecting on the table. Perfect al fresco salad too.
That looks so beautiful and refreshing. I have never tried strawberries with the traditional caprese salad but I will now! I love the suggestion of a Rose with the dish.
